One of our new members Loosehanger cheese - Old Sarum 2007 Award winning blue cheese appeared on Ready Steady Cook yesterday 7th April as part of the "goodie bag" from Cresson Creative in Alresford.
You can buy any of the cheeses and other products from the local markets or from various local retail outlets.

2008 Great Hampshire Sausage, Pie,and Ready Meal Competition.
Hampshire Supreme Sausage Champion 2008
Greenfield Pork Products for their Hampshire Pork and Bramley Apple sausage.
The competition which is held at Sparsholt College 14th February attracted over 244 entires from 28 Hampshire butchers and meat farmers. judges awarded 68 gold certificates and 13 trophies. In addtion to winning supreme champion, Martin (from Greenfield) scooped champion trophies for Best Hampshire Sausage, Best Speciality Pork Sausage, Best Valentines sausage and Best Hampshire Farmers' Market sausage.
Unfortunately we only saw a disappointing 6 entires in the New Forest Marque section, hopefully we will see more entries for next year!
